SciTech provides its customers, through several contracts, with countermeasure and anti-tamper technologies in two primary areas. The first area entails  Tamper Resistant Armament Component technologies, where armament components require the development of countermeasures and anti-tamper systems designed to prevent functional degradation.  Of particular interest is armament component protection against directed energy (DE) sources, such as high frequency (HF) radio frequency (RF), microwave, laser, acoustic, etc., designed to degrade/destroy ignition components.  Redesign of components is studied to provide designs, which are resistant to tampering.  The second area involves infrastructure and industrial control modular bench scale prototypes to counteract the degradation/disruption/tampering and recovery of manufacturing processes, infrastructure systems, industrial process control applications, and armament/munitions component and sub components.  Selected infrastructure and industrial control systems are studied at a bench-scale level to determine the effects of potential threats and develop countermeasures against these threats.  Special attention is devoted to system control technologies and known vulnerabilities.
